SW Financial Management Ltd is a personal IFA firm, which is directly authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and has over 20years’ experience of giving face-to-face advice to clients throughout the UK. We pride ourselves on providing personalised, tailored solutions to a vast range of financial scenarios in a down-to-earth, easily understood way. Meetings can be arranged either in the comfort of the clients’ home or alternatively at our office in Hamilton if this is more convenient.

We are ‘general practitioner’ IFAs giving advice across all areas of financial planning, as we firmly believe that long-term financial planning can only be truly effective if all aspects are considered. In conjunction with this, we tend to work towards building long-term relationships with clients, altering financial plans to suit changing circumstances, and building long-term understandings of my client’s needs, aspirations and attitude to risk and reward.

Areas of advice that we typically cover are: investments & savings, pre-retirement planning, at-retirement planning, mortgages, life insurance, health insurance, income protection insurance, and inheritance tax planning.
We also provide advice on more complex cases, including Trusts, Inheritance Tax and specialist Pension Transfers, and this type of advice is typically included with the above areas as a necessary.

In addition we work with small and medium sized businesses to assist them with the financial advice needs they have, for example Auto-Enrolment and employee benefit arrangements. We also have relationships with accountants and solicitors in order to be able to provide our clients with a complete package for all of their financial requirements.

Initial meetings are free and without obligation in order to discuss your needs and how we might be able to help. Any costs for the work that we carry our for you will be fully discussed at the initial meeting and always agreed in advance before proceeding.
